What is Phil Saunders Associates?
Phil Saunders Associates was established in 2001. We are a consultancy specialising in Housing Related Support, Supported Housing, Homelessness and Adult Social Care. Our strengths are an in-depth knowledge of the sector, coupled with extensive experience of working in and with local and national government. We have also assisted a wide range of providers and representative organisations.
The services we provide include:
- Policy and strategy development for national and local government, providers and representative bodies
- Advice on finance and funding, including rents, service charges, Housing Benefit, management & maintenance charging etc.
- Advice on Personalisation, including integration of Housing Related Support into Resource Allocation Systems;
- Assistance with all aspects of commissioning, procurement and tendering, including commissioning for outcomes, market management and prevention strategies;
- Partnership and consortium building;
- Facilitation, public speaking and training;
- Options appraisal, business planning and performance review;
- Interim and project management.
Why “Associates”?
Phil Saunders Associates does not employ staff, other than the Director. Increasingly, we work in partnership with other established professionals. This keeps overheads down, enabling us to offer good value for money.
Normally, Phil Saunders (our Director) will work on and deliver projects personally. In other instances, depending on the size and nature of the task, Phil will put together and manage a multi-disciplinary team.
